My brother picked up this Cessna 172D, after passing an inspection with flying colors. Shortly after he brought her home, though, she had a starter adapter failure. Through the course of that repair, we replaced quite a bit on this Continental O300. By the time we were done, she had a new starter, starter adapter, plugs, wires, mags, ignition switch, and vacuum lines. We weren’t taking any chances…
