You SSH Into Your Chicken Coop?!?

So the wife picked up a JVR automatic coop door a couple of years ago. She sprung for the more expensive one that was wi-fi enabled, but we never really able to get the setup handled, and ended up using the pushbutton remote to open and close the “automatic” coop door manually. That is until it stopped doing even that.

My buddy Scott came over just before the new year looking for some help on a project of his, for his maple syrup adventures. Scott is one of my oldest friends. And by that, I mean to say that I’ve known him since middle school, and I can count on 1 hand the number of people I count as friends from that time. I’ll stop short of dating myself on this post, so I’ll just leave it at “that’s been a few moons ago.”

Catching you up on all things Fiero

Fieros and I go way back, to before I could even drive. The first time I heard about them I think I was 12 or 13, when a guy I knew told me about a nice looking little 2 seat car. What caught, and held me was when he said, “They’re fast enough to get you in trouble, and if you know how to drive, they’re fast enough to get you back out.”

That’s all I knew about them, but little 12(ish) year old me was sold.
